Hormel Foods Divests Brazilian Ceratti Brand to Zanchetta Alimentos

Hormel Foods is exiting the Brazilian market, finalizing an agreement to sell its local operations—centered on the Ceratti brand—to the Sao Paulo-based food processor Zanchetta Alimentos. Hormel Foods Divests Brazilian Ceratti Brand to Zanchetta Alimentos

While the financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, Hormel leadership anticipates the deal will have a negligible impact on the company’s adjusted fiscal 2026 financial results. By offloading the Brazilian unit, Hormel aims to streamline its portfolio, which currently features major global staples such as Planters, Skippy, and Spam. Zanchetta Alimentos is expected to integrate the Ceratti label into its existing regional production network following the close of the deal.
