The new board will be chaired by Karen Grimes, a retired partner at Wellington Management Company. Joining her is Vylor’s incoming chief executive, Chuck Magro, alongside a diverse group of executives including Procter & Gamble’s Victor Aguilar, former John Deere Financial president Rajesh Kalathur, and former Ultrapar Participacões CEO Marcos Lutz. The roster is rounded out by Merck & Co. executive Johannes Oosthuizen and former Monsanto strategy officer Kerry Preete.
As the separation approaches, the corporate structure at Corteva will shift significantly. Grimes, Magro, Lutz, and Preete are slated to depart the Corteva board to focus exclusively on the new entity. Meanwhile, Luke Kissam is set to join the Corteva board as its incoming CEO. The company confirmed that a search remains active to secure at least one additional member for the Vylor board to complete its oversight team.
