The honor recognizes leaders who have demonstrated significant growth, vision, and a tangible impact on their local communities. Keller began his tenure at the firm in 1990 and assumed the role of CEO in 2000, steering the company from a regional trucking operation into a diversified, asset-based third-party logistics provider. Today, the organization encompasses Keller Freight Solutions, Keller Trucking, Keller Warehousing & Co-packing, and Keller Industrial Properties.

Reflecting on the milestone, Keller attributed the company's evolution to the collective effort of his workforce. He noted that the recognition belongs to the more than 1,000 employees who have fueled the company’s expansion since its founding in 1978. The EBE Hall of Fame, a program managed by Gorillas & Gazelles LLC, has highlighted business leaders throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan for nearly four decades.
