By introducing the File Editor, Caldera enables teams to review dimensions and cutting paths while applying immediate corrections without toggling between disparate software tools. This streamlined environment aims to minimize rework and ensure consistent file quality across both manual and automated workflows.

Sebastien Hanssens, Vice President of Marketing at Caldera, noted that the update responds to the daily requirements of print teams for faster, controlled file preparation. Beyond the new editor, the software retains its compatibility with various RIP solutions, printers, and cutting hardware. Once files are validated, they transition seamlessly to the Layout Creator for optimized nesting or can be exported as clean PDFs, supporting applications ranging from retail graphics to high-volume sticker production.
