Amid this volatility, PPL announced a leadership change intended to bolster its governance. Kenneth M. Hartwick is set to join the company’s board of directors on July 1. Hartwick, who previously held the roles of president and chief executive officer at Ontario Power Generation, will take seats on the firm’s finance and compensation committees to help navigate the shifting sector landscape.
