Jerome Crichton Targets White Pathology in New Racial Habilitation Study

In Spitting Into the Wind: White Pathology and the Struggle for Racial Habilitation, Crichton argues that behaviors often labeled as systemic racism are effectively learned social reflexes. By synthesizing research from epigenetics, theology, and sociology, he characterizes these patterns as a form of collective trauma passed down through generations and solidified by institutional frameworks. The text moves beyond standard critiques of supremacy by centering Black narratives as the primary authority on these dynamics.

Rather than settling for a diagnosis, the work advocates for a process he terms racial habilitation. This trauma-informed resocialization strategy aims to dismantle the cycles of detachment and domination that Crichton claims have defined the status quo. The book is currently available through the author's dedicated portal and is scheduled for a wider retail release across major platforms including Amazon and Barnes & Noble starting in July 2026.
