The integration aims to bolster Vero’s foundational vertical by merging compatible fiber-optic infrastructures. According to the company, the transition will be transparent for current clients, ensuring that existing service levels and bandwidth commitments remain uninterrupted while benefiting from Vero’s broader operational resources.
Mary White, SVP of the E-Rate vertical at Vero, noted that the acquisition aligns with the firm’s long-standing focus on providing private, high-speed connectivity to educational institutions. By absorbing Velocity Fiber, Vero strengthens its position as a primary infrastructure partner for schools and libraries, building upon its portfolio of brands which includes FastTrack Communications and Clearnetworx. The company expects the consolidated network to support its ongoing expansion within the competitive K-12 connectivity sector.
