Kolev arrives at the Tampa-based company following a high-stakes tenure as CFO of ITS Logistics, where he navigated the firm through its recent acquisition by a strategic buyer. His background is rooted in private equity-backed scaling, most notably during his time at Industrial Service Solutions. There, he spearheaded a buy-and-build strategy that pushed annual revenue from under $300 million to over $550 million before facilitating an exit to a new sponsor.
CEO Christopher Synek emphasized that Kolev’s expertise in managing complex industrial platforms will be vital to DCI’s growth objectives. A CPA and CMA, Kolev holds advanced degrees from Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of Economics in Varna. He intends to focus on building upon the company's existing logistics services, which include specialized tank container maintenance, cleaning, and storage solutions.
