The partnership addresses a persistent hurdle for organizations managing small and medium-sized business portfolios: the reliance on disconnected or outdated information. By integrating Verdata’s platform, users gain access to over 25 million records covering firmographics, regulatory status, and financial performance without the need for complex point-to-point technical integrations.
Jason Andrew, chief revenue officer at FICO, noted that the marketplace aims to eliminate friction between data acquisition and final decisioning. For lenders and payment providers, this means automating manual reviews and identifying risk signals earlier in the customer lifecycle. Verdata CEO Mike Mondelli added that the move is designed to fill critical gaps left by traditional data sources, ensuring that business intelligence remains current and actionable within the FICO ecosystem.
