Makers Nutrition Targets Food Insecurity With Feeding America Donation

A $1,500 contribution from Hauppauge-based manufacturer Makers Nutrition is heading to Feeding America to bolster national hunger-relief efforts. The donation marks the latest effort by the supplement company to extend its corporate wellness mission beyond product manufacturing and into the broader landscape of community food access.

Jason Provenzano, founder and CEO of Makers Nutrition, framed the donation as a necessary step for a company built on health-oriented business. He noted that while the firm specializes in vitamins and supplements, basic nourishment remains the foundation of community wellness. By partnering with Feeding America, the company aims to support a supply chain that connects farms and food banks to millions of families struggling with food insecurity.

This initiative joins a history of company-led philanthropic projects, including holiday campaigns and local food drives. Makers Nutrition currently operates as a high-volume private label manufacturer, and leadership views this donation as a blueprint for other health-sector businesses to engage in local social impact. Feeding America continues to coordinate a massive network of 200 food banks and 60,000 pantries, relying on corporate support to maintain the logistics required to distribute fresh produce and staples across the United States.
