Accrete, which has focused on building Knowledge Engines since 2017, looks to Hock to guide its product and commercial expansion. The company specializes in encoding institutional experience into systems, a task it argues remains a critical bottleneck as businesses transition from simple AI copilots to autonomous agents capable of delivering finished work. Hock brings experience from his current role at Cerebras, where he oversees strategy for wafer-scale supercomputing, as well as his previous tenure at Google following the acquisition of Skybox Imaging.

Prashant Bhuyan, founder and CEO of Accrete, noted that Hock’s background in scaling advanced technologies will be instrumental as the firm expands its reach into highly regulated sectors, including government and critical infrastructure. Hock will specifically advise on the development of scalable autonomous systems and go-to-market strategies, helping the company bridge the gap between raw AI compute power and the nuanced, expert judgment required for high-stakes enterprise applications.
