Hong will oversee the company's product management and e-commerce initiatives, working closely with the global development teams at Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial Company, the parent firm that acquired Arrow in 2017. His appointment comes as the manufacturer looks to deepen its presence in both the professional trade and DIY markets, leveraging a history that dates back to the 1929 launch of the company’s flagship fastening tools.
CEO Roberto Izaguirre cited Hong’s history of translating consumer insights into market-ready products as a catalyst for the company’s next phase of growth. Holding a degree from Central Connecticut State University, Hong will now manage a diverse brand lineup that includes Goldblatt, Pony Jorgensen, and SK Professional Tools. The move aims to align Arrow’s long-standing reputation for reliable hardware with modern, consumer-focused digital and retail strategies.
