This implementation serves as the first commercial test of Egardia’s international strategy, which shifts its business focus from consumer-facing DIY alarm systems to backend technology partnerships. By integrating Egardia’s cloud-based infrastructure, operators can now bypass years of development time and avoid the need for multiple technology partners.
Egardia CEO Robin Rietveld noted that consumers are increasingly demanding trusted digital services that extend beyond simple data or voice plans. The platform provides a turnkey solution, allowing companies to maintain full ownership of their customer relationships while diversifying revenue streams.
