Kastle Systems Overhauls Leadership to Dominate Managed Security

Physical security has shifted from a back-office compliance task to a strategic business asset, prompting Falls Church-based Kastle to announce its largest leadership expansion in two decades. The firm has appointed five senior executives to scale its integrated platform across the $1 trillion commercial real estate sector.

The appointments follow a period of sustained growth for the company, which now protects over 1 billion square feet of property. Kastle is betting that its move toward intelligence-driven, unified security will resonate with landlords and enterprise tenants who are increasingly prioritizing workplace safety as a key competitive differentiator.

To lead this expansion, Kastle has brought in Matt Burke as COO, formerly of Johnson Controls, to oversee operational scaling. Neil Thomas joins as Chief Revenue Officer to spearhead enterprise market penetration, while Chad Pierce, previously CIO at WeWork, takes the role of Chief Information Officer to drive technological integration. Marketing efforts will be directed by Lindsay McLain, with Steven Weingarth stepping into the role of Vice President of Go-to-Market. The team is tasked with moving security beyond fragmented point solutions toward a cohesive, cloud-based platform that integrates identity management, video surveillance, and real-time threat data.
