Cynosure Lutronic Expands XERF Skin Tightening Platform to EMEA

With 67% of European adults expressing a clear preference for needle-free aesthetic procedures, Cynosure Lutronic is moving to capture the growing demand for non-invasive rejuvenation. The company has officially launched its dual-frequency XERF platform across the EMEA region, targeting a market increasingly focused on long-lasting, structural skin health.

The XERF device distinguishes itself by delivering two radiofrequency frequencies—6.78 MHz and 2 MHz—within a single treatment shot. This technical configuration allows energy to target superficial, mid-dermal, and structural layers simultaneously. Following successful adoption in the United States and South Korea, the technology is now arriving in Europe to address a specific consumer gap identified in recent research conducted by Appinio.

Surveying over 4,700 adults across Europe and Saudi Arabia, the study found that 58% of respondents prioritize firming sagging skin, yet remain cautious about invasive methods. The device features WaveFit™ Pulse technology and integrated cryogen cooling to maintain epidermal safety, a design choice intended to minimize the need for pre-treatment numbing. According to Nikhil Nathwani, a representative for Cynosure Lutronic, the company is positioning the platform for clinicians who require a reliable, proven solution rather than a standard aesthetic upgrade. While the rollout begins now, the company notes that availability in specific countries remains subject to local regulatory compliance.
