Vintage Modern Taps Trevelino/Keller to Drive Luxury Market Growth

Frustrated by the unreliable performance and safety flaws of vintage trucks, founder Chau Nguyen launched Vintage Modern in 2018 to bridge the gap between iconic aesthetics and modern engineering. Now, the Atlanta-based luxury builder has retained the agency Trevelino/Keller to scale its brand presence among global collectors and automotive enthusiasts.

The partnership marks a strategic pivot for the vehicle builder as it looks to solidify its position in a niche category that avoids traditional restoration in favor of bespoke craftsmanship. Each vehicle requires over 900 hours of labor to marry a modern chassis with classic design, resulting in FMVSS-compliant machines equipped with six airbags and contemporary safety systems. By producing more than 250 vehicles annually for a clientele of athletes and collectors, the company has outgrown its earlier iteration as Vintage Broncos.

Trevelino/Keller, which draws on its historical work with brands like Carvana, will lead the effort to amplify this growth through executive thought leadership and a comprehensive digital refresh. Dean Trevelino, co-CEO of the agency, noted that the collaboration mirrors the firm’s previous work in category-disrupting automotive ventures. For Chau Nguyen, the move is calculated to transition the company from a boutique builder into a recognized leader in the luxury performance market.
