Walden C. Rhines, executive sponsor of the report and CEO of Silvaco Group, attributed the sustained momentum to broad-based gains across all product categories. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) led the segment growth with a 15.5% jump to $2.02 billion, while Semiconductor Intellectual Property (SIP) followed closely, rising 14.1% to reach $2.33 billion.

Regional performance highlighted a sharp divergence in market activity. While the Americas remained the largest buyer at $2.43 billion, the EMEA and APAC regions recorded the most aggressive expansion, with revenues climbing 17.6% and 17.7% respectively. Conversely, the Japanese market faced a contraction, with procurement dropping 9.9% to $283.1 million. According to the Electronic Design Market Data report, the industry’s overall headcount grew by 12.6% compared to the previous year, signaling a significant investment in human capital alongside rising financial returns.
