Thayne Shaffer, President and CEO of the credit union, noted that the move reflects a long-term strategy to provide personalized financial guidance to a growing California membership base. The institution, which traces its history back to 1939, currently serves 1.5 million members through 118 locations.

To mark the launch, the branch is hosting a series of promotional events running through July 31. Local visitors can tour the facility, meet the staff, and participate in prize giveaways, including an electric mountain bike. Beyond retail banking, the credit union intends to integrate into the Highland community through local volunteerism and financial literacy programs, underscoring its cooperative, not-for-profit structure.
