SAMDUO Launches Nex E Series Batteries for Dutch Solar Market

Dutch households face a significant shift on January 1, 2027, as the nation ends net metering for solar energy. To mitigate the impact of rising grid costs, SAMDUO has opened direct online sales for its Nex E6000 and Nex E6000H battery systems, designed to maximize self-consumption of home-generated power.

The Nex E6000 features an ultra-slim 11.9cm profile and tempered-glass aesthetics, earning a Red Dot Design Award for its ability to integrate into modern living spaces. For smaller areas like basements or garages, the Nex E6000H provides a compact alternative roughly the size of a standard 23L microwave. Both units operate silently due to a fanless design and deliver up to 2600VA of output to maintain essential household appliances during power outages.

Integration remains a central feature of the series, which is compatible with over 800 European energy providers. The system utilizes SAMDUO Intelligence to analyze dynamic electricity tariffs, local weather, and consumption habits to automate charging cycles. By prioritizing stored energy during peak pricing, the company claims users could potentially save up to €1,584 annually. Installation is simplified through a plug-and-play setup that pairs with P1 meters and third-party tools like HomeWizard for granular energy management.

Durability is managed through 314Ah LFP battery cells capable of 10,000 charge cycles, backed by a 10-year warranty and a projected 15-year lifespan. For growing households, PowerMesh technology allows users to scale their capacity by linking up to 15 individual units. These systems are now available via the official SAMDUO website, offering a proactive solution for homeowners looking to reduce grid dependence ahead of the upcoming legislative changes.
