Leigh Lapworth, a fellow in computational science at Rolls-Royce, emphasized that the transition from five years of classical emulation to live implementation on Quantinuum hardware marks a pivotal shift. The team will test core computational building blocks now to ensure readiness for future hardware iterations, including the planned Sol and Apollo systems.
