Media Do Profits Slide Amid Rising Revenue

The Tokyo-listed digital publisher posted operating profits of 440 million yen for the three months ending May 31, down from 654 million yen a year prior. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, dropping to 203 million yen from the previous year’s 669 million yen. Consequently, earnings per share plummeted to 8.54 yen, a steep retreat from the 53.99 yen recorded in 2025. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
