The analysis, powered by Exiger’s proprietary software, details an ecosystem comprising over 8,900 defense companies and a workforce exceeding 190,000. Data indicates that Pennsylvania suppliers provide more than 465,000 defense-related components. Of these, 113,000 are essential for weapon-system functionality, while 288,000 rely on Commonwealth firms as their sole source of production. These single-source dependencies currently support approximately 2,000 individual weapon systems.

Senator McCormick, who organized the July 14-15 summit, emphasized the state's strategic importance alongside attendees including President Trump, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine. Exiger CEO Brandon Daniels noted that the platform’s mapping capabilities offer a blueprint for protecting the state's defense economy. The event schedule includes discussions on foreign policy and industrial prosperity, featuring figures such as SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler and Ambassador Mike Waltz.
