The San Francisco-based company, which serves 40 percent of the Fortune 500, launched its 'Sun's Out' update today to fundamentally shift how organizations engage with user insights. Central to this release are category-defining digital twins, which synthesize real-world support tickets, sales calls, and research into interactive personas. These models allow product and strategy teams to simulate customer reactions or pressure-test new concepts in real time.
Beyond simulation, the platform introduces autonomous AI Agents that monitor feedback streams around the clock. Unlike static reporting tools, these agents can trigger workflows in external systems—such as updating Salesforce records or opening tickets in Linear—based on specific customer signals. The update also features Channels 2.0, which prioritizes feedback based on revenue impact, and new MCP connectors that pipe these insights directly into tools like Microsoft Copilot and Slack.
CEO Benjamin Humphrey noted that the surge in AI-generated content has paradoxically made understanding customers more painful by creating an unmanageable volume of noise. By securing ISO 42001 certification for responsible AI management, Dovetail is positioning its infrastructure to meet the rigorous compliance standards required by its largest clients, including AWS, Visa, and Breville. The platform's ability to automate redaction of sensitive data further supports its push into highly regulated industries, ensuring that deep customer context does not come at the expense of privacy.
