The company’s net income attributable to shareholders rose 79% to $109,000, effectively doubling diluted earnings per share to $0.02. This financial improvement occurred despite a sharp decline in non-operating income, which dropped to $26,000 from $134,000 in the prior-year period. Revenue reached $2 million, up from $1.5 million a year ago, as the firm integrated its recent acquisition of Regent-Feinbau.
CEO Roland Kohl noted that the company is moving to diversify its client base and reduce reliance on traditional OEM manufacturing. While selling, general and administrative expenses climbed 16.7% to $776,000 due to acquisition costs, revenue growth outpaced these overheads. The firm maintains a stable liquidity position, ending the quarter with $3.9 million in cash and a current ratio of 2.4-to-1.
