Longsys Targets Edge AI Integration with New Storage Foundry Model

San Jose prepares for FMS 2026, where Longsys will debut its "Edge AI Storage Fusion" initiative. By pivoting from passive data storage to an active compute-support architecture, the company aims to resolve bottlenecks in AI Box, AI PC, and mobile device deployment through a specialized foundry business model.

Longsys is set to demonstrate how bridging the gap between storage and computing can stabilize AI hardware performance. The company’s strategy hinges on two pillars: technological fusion, which integrates memory and intelligent scheduling to eliminate traditional performance barriers, and value fusion, which transforms storage into a centralized resource hub for edge AI environments.

At the upcoming FMS 2026 event in California, Longsys will present integrated solutions designed to mitigate common industry challenges, such as high retrofit costs and inefficient resource scheduling. Chief Scientist Dr. Chen Jian is scheduled to headline the discussion with a presentation on the "Storage Foundry" model, an approach that encompasses the entire value chain from chip design and firmware to industrial packaging and manufacturing. This full-stack customization strategy is intended to move terminal AI applications beyond experimental phases and into scalable, commercial-grade deployments by aligning hardware efficiency with ecosystem adaptability.
