For the city of Harrisonville, the investment signals a shift from a dormant commercial space to an active economic contributor, with the company projecting the creation of at least 20 local jobs.

"We've always believed in reinvesting in the people and the places that made Kansas City barbecue what it is," said Kirk Durham, Vice President of Retail Operations. The company plans to begin its hiring cycle in the fourth quarter of 2026, targeting a full operational launch in the first quarter of 2027. This move deepens the Fiorella-Dorman family’s footprint in the region, keeping the production facility within reach of their original Martin City roots while standardizing their signature hickory-smoked techniques for a nationwide retail and foodservice audience.
