BitGo Shareholders Face August Deadline in Securities Fraud Lawsuit

Investors who purchased BitGo Holdings, Inc. securities between January 22, 2025, and May 13, 2026, have until August 7, 2026, to file as lead plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit. The litigation targets the company for allegedly misleading the market about financial risks during its IPO period.

The complaint filed by Schall Brown & Schwartz LLP alleges that BitGo violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing false and misleading statements. According to the filing, the company actively downplayed the potential impact of declining digital asset prices while simultaneously promoting its business prospects to prospective investors. When the actual state of the company's financial health reached the market, share prices fell, leading to significant investor losses.

Shareholders do not need to be appointed as lead plaintiff to participate in potential recoveries, though those interested in directing the litigation must meet the August 7 deadline. The law firm notes that the class has not yet been certified, meaning investors who take no action remain absent class members without formal legal representation. Interested parties can contact attorneys Adam Rosen or David Schwartz in Los Angeles to discuss eligibility and recovery options.
