The company’s performance highlights a shift toward its AI-enabled platform, with SaaS revenue rising 39% to reach $100 million for the quarter. Total subscription annualized recurring revenue climbed 22% to $1.054 billion, signaling sustained demand for the company’s cyber resilience and data protection tools. This growth helped drive a 71% surge in free cash flow, which reached $51 million by the end of June.

CEO Sanjay Mirchandani attributed the results to an increasing enterprise focus on AI-driven data security and recovery. Looking ahead, the company has provided updated guidance for the full fiscal year, projecting subscription revenue between $1.119 billion and $1.129 billion. Commvault expects to maintain momentum in the coming months, with plans to allocate approximately 60% of its free cash flow toward share repurchases.
