The Nexus platform is built to handle the mechanical and electrical stresses of daily use, featuring hardware designed for sustained high-current operation. Available in four distinct configurations, the chargers support both SAE J3400 (NACS) and J1772 vehicle standards. Options include a 48A hardwired model, capable of delivering up to 46 miles of range per hour, and a 40A NEMA 14-50 plug-in version providing 38 miles of range per hour.
Each model features a 23-foot cable and an IP66-rated enclosure, ensuring protection for both indoor and outdoor residential installations. Beyond the exterior, the internal architecture incorporates thermal management systems and power delivery layouts tested against extreme conditions, including temperature cycling from -22°F to 122°F and over 10,000 connection cycles. The product line is certified to UL standards, including UL 2594 and UL 2231, and is currently available through Lectron’s website and Amazon.
