Repligen Shares Jump 16% on Earnings Surprise

Investors pushed Repligen shares up 16% to $152.02 after the life sciences firm eclipsed Wall Street’s second-quarter earnings expectations. While the stock remains down 7.3% year-to-date, the latest results signal a sharp recovery in adjusted operating income, which climbed to $34 million from $22 million in the prior year.

Repligen Shares Jump 16% on Earnings Surprise

The company reported adjusted earnings of 54 cents per share, comfortably beating the 45-cent consensus estimate from FactSet analysts. Revenue reached $204.1 million, reflecting a 12% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite the top-line growth, net income fell to $5.01 million, or 9 cents a share, down from $14.87 million or 26 cents a share a year ago.

Looking ahead, Repligen provided fiscal 2026 guidance that suggests significant optimism. The company projects revenue between $813 million and $835 million, alongside earnings per share ranging from $2.03 to $2.09. This forecast sits well above the current market expectations of $1.10 per share, fueling the intraday rally.
