Daiyrbek Orunbekov, representing the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, emphasized that media and think tanks serve as a critical defense against the spread of false information. He noted that the forum is intended to foster new initiatives that improve information security and deepen academic ties between member states. Xinhua Vice President Xi Yanchun echoed these sentiments, urging organizations to prioritize solidarity and multilateralism while acting as bridges for cultural exchange.

Participants addressed the dual nature of modern digital progress, where increased connectivity coincides with heightened cybersecurity threats. Mederbek Shermetaliev of the Kabar News Agency proposed the establishment of formal, regular dialogue mechanisms to facilitate joint research and professional development. Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping highlighted the role of these institutions as advocates for cooperation, arguing that global stability requires more objective, rational reporting to overcome regional prejudices. The event, which runs through Thursday, also saw the release of two major reports focusing on global governance and political thought, signaling a push for more unified intellectual influence across the bloc.
