The aerospace manufacturer’s performance provided a critical lift, as robust jet sales helped insulate the company against significant development costs in its specialized government programs.

Industrial Stocks Rally Following Boeing Earnings Report

While Boeing led the charge, the market saw divergent reactions elsewhere in the industrial space. Lucid shares experienced a sharp surge following news that Saudi investor Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud acquired a stake in the electric-vehicle manufacturer. Conversely, United Parcel Service faced a sell-off, with shares tumbling despite the package-delivery giant lifting its full-year growth projections. Ford Motor managed to buck the downward trend in logistics, seeing its stock climb after the automaker similarly raised its own growth forecast.
