Nankai Tatsumura Construction Profits Slip in First Quarter

A decline in performance marked the first quarter for Nankai Tatsumura Construction, as the firm reported net profits of 299 million yen for the period ending June 30. This result represents a significant contraction compared to the 416 million yen recorded during the same quarter of the previous year.

Revenue at the Japanese construction firm fell to 9.79 billion yen from 11.42 billion yen, signaling a broader slowdown in top-line growth. Operating profit followed a similar downward trajectory, dropping to 465 million yen from 599 million yen a year earlier. Pretax profit settled at 440 million yen, down from 605 million yen in 2025.

Earnings per share for the quarter reached 10.62 yen, trailing behind the 14.43 yen reported during the prior year’s first quarter. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
