The company’s latest financial disclosure reveals a contrast between top-line growth and operational profitability. While revenue climbed from 535.38 billion yen in 2025, operating profit retreated to 60.09 billion yen from the previous year's 64.37 billion yen. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 54.48 billion yen against 57.61 billion yen in the prior year.

Calculated under Japanese accounting standards, the per-share earnings for the period stood at 72.21 yen, compared to 75.42 yen in the first quarter of 2025. These figures reflect the ongoing cost pressures impacting the utility provider as it navigates the current fiscal landscape.
