Nippon Fine Chemical Profit Climbs to 1.24 Billion Yen

Nippon Fine Chemical Co. reported a significant uptick in first-quarter performance for the period ending June 30, with net profit reaching 1.24 billion yen. This result marks a robust increase from the 999 million yen recorded during the same period last year, driven by steady growth across its core financial metrics.

Revenue for the Japanese chemical manufacturer rose to 8.89 billion yen, up from 8.12 billion yen in 2025. This top-line expansion supported a stronger bottom line, as operating profit climbed to 1.44 billion yen compared to the previous year's 1.24 billion yen. Pretax figures followed a similar trajectory, rising to 1.61 billion yen from 1.39 billion yen. Earnings per share saw a corresponding boost, landing at 57.37 yen against the 44.75 yen reported in the prior year. These results were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
