The collaboration highlights the thematic bridge between Toyota’s Japanese heritage and Díaz’s creative vision, which draws heavily from both Japanese and Puerto Rican influences. To visualize this fusion, the partners commissioned limited-edition posters from Japanese-Korean American oil painter Shingo Yamazaki and Puerto Rican muralist Bikismo. Their work mirrors the OMAKASE tracklist, blending hyper-realistic metallic aesthetics with explorations of identity and nostalgia.
Fans attending Lollapalooza will get the first look at these prints during Díaz’s set at the Toyota Music Den. Beyond the stage, the automaker plans to distribute the collection via Toyota Latino social channels. This project follows a series of recent music-focused initiatives by the company, including a listening event at the Sueños Music Festival and an upcoming appearance by Díaz on the SiriusXM series Sounds of the Road. Paul Doleshal, general manager of motorsports and sponsorships at Toyota, noted that the partnership aims to deepen the connection between artists and their audiences by supporting the movements currently defining the music landscape.
