National Airlines Bolsters Heavy Cargo Fleet with Third 777 Freighter

A third Boeing 777-200 Freighter, registered as N795CA, has officially joined the National Airlines fleet, marking a rapid expansion of the carrier's long-haul capabilities. The aircraft departed on its maiden revenue mission to the Middle East today, signaling the airline's aggressive push into the international charter market.

The arrival of N795CA follows a swift delivery schedule, with all three Boeing 777 freighters entering service within months of the initial delivery event in April 2026. Chairman Christopher Alf described the expansion as a core investment in building a versatile global charter fleet capable of handling complex logistics for sectors ranging from aerospace to humanitarian aid. A fourth 777 aircraft is expected to join the lineup later this year.

The Boeing 777-200 Freighter offers an intercontinental range exceeding 9,000 kilometers, supported by GE90 engines and advanced avionics. This efficiency allows the Orlando-based carrier to broaden its reach beyond its existing fleet, which includes nine Boeing 747 freighters and several Airbus A330 passenger aircraft. By integrating these high-capacity jets, National Airlines aims to strengthen its ability to transport oversized and time-sensitive cargo across its network of over 450 airports worldwide.
