Vision Marine Technologies Proposes Reverse Stock Split

Vision Marine Technologies has filed meeting materials for an August 20 shareholder vote to approve a potential reverse stock split. The company is considering a consolidation ratio between 5:1 and 10:1 to maintain compliance with Nasdaq minimum bid price requirements and preserve its strategic listing flexibility.

The board of directors holds the authority to determine if and when the consolidation proceeds, pending final approval from both shareholders and the TSX Venture Exchange. This move addresses market requirements for the Boisbriand-based marine technology firm, which has faced the pressures of maintaining its exchange presence while developing its proprietary E-Motion electric propulsion platform. Implementation remains contingent on the board's assessment of the company's market position.
