CEO Michael Arougheti pointed to the firm's diverse origination platform as the primary driver for its resilience, noting a recent pickup in the company's investment pipeline. Financial results reflected this stability, with GAAP net income reaching $150.6 million for the period ending June 30, 2026. After-tax realized income stood at $467.6 million, or $1.29 per share of Class A common stock.

CFO Jarrod Phillips emphasized that several key financial metrics grew by more than 20% year-over-year. The firm is currently positioned to deploy capital from a record $170 billion in dry powder. Looking toward shareholder returns, Ares declared a quarterly dividend of $1.35 per share for Class A and non-voting common stock, payable on September 30, 2026. A dividend of $0.84375 per share was also set for the company's 6.75% Series B mandatory convertible preferred stock.
