Holand Leasing Absorbs Luxury Portfolio from John Scotti Receivership

By cherry-picking premium assets from the court-supervised liquidation of John Scotti Leasing Inc., Holand Automotive Group has moved to consolidate its grip on the Canadian ultra-luxury market. The acquisition allows the Montréal-based firm to integrate select high-end vehicle leases directly into its existing, specialized luxury leasing platform.

The transaction avoids a full takeover of the John Scotti portfolio, focusing instead on assets that mirror Holand’s own business model and client base. By working directly with the court-appointed Receiver, Holand secured only those agreements that align with its current roster of prestigious automotive marques. This disciplined expansion is designed to provide immediate continuity for the transferred lessees while reinforcing the group’s long-term commitment to the ultra-luxury segment.

Janet Cully, a senior executive with the firm since 1995, is overseeing the integration process. She is supported by Viki Forese, who handles daily operations, and Executive Vice-President Meir Bitton. The team aims to transition the new clients into the Holand ecosystem without disrupting their existing arrangements. Gad Bitton, President and CEO of Holand Automotive Group, characterized the move as a strategic step to maintain the high-touch, white-glove service standards expected by the company’s clientele. The remaining assets not purchased by Holand continue to be managed by the Receiver as part of the broader liquidation process.
