Domestically, the film set new benchmarks for both premium formats. SCREENX reached $7 million—2.6 times its previous record—while 4DX generated $5.2 million from 77 locations. Notably, the 4DX auditorium at Regal Times Square achieved a 94% occupancy rate, bringing in $200,000. Internationally, the film added another $19 million, with strong showings across the United Kingdom, India, and Australia, among others.
This release represents a technical milestone as the first film "Shot for SCREENX," allowing directors to integrate multi-projection imagery directly into the production process. Don Savant, CEO of CJ 4DPLEX Americas, attributed the success to a shift in consumer behavior, noting that audiences are increasingly prioritizing theatrical experiences that cannot be replicated in a home environment. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring Tom Holland, is currently screening worldwide.
