Calamos Investments has finalized its monthly distribution schedule for seven closed-end funds, with payments slated for August 21, 2026. The August distribution list includes the Calamos Convertible Opportunities and Income Fund (CHI) at $0.095, the Convertible and High Income Fund (CHY) at $0.10, and the Strategic Total Return Fund (CSQ) at $0.135. Other funds, including the Global Total Return Fund (CGO), Global Dynamic Income Fund (CHW), Dynamic Convertible and Income Fund (CCD), and the Long/Short Equity & Dynamic Income Trust (CPZ), also confirmed their respective payouts for the month.

Management emphasized that these figures represent estimates of distribution sources based on fiscal year-to-date performance. For funds like the Calamos Dynamic Convertible and Income Fund, the current monthly distribution is comprised entirely of short-term capital gains. Conversely, the Long/Short Equity & Dynamic Income Trust (CPZ) reports that its current distribution is primarily sourced from a return of capital. Investors are reminded that these estimates are subject to adjustment based on year-end tax accounting, and that distribution sources do not necessarily correlate with total investment performance.
