CEO Lori Koch attributed the performance to disciplined execution of strategic priorities and robust demand across key markets. The company saw mid-single-digit organic growth in its Healthcare & Water Technologies segment, bolstered by strength in biopharma and personal protection, while the Diversified Industrials segment benefited from ongoing demand in aerospace and electric vehicle applications.

Following the second-quarter outperformance, CFO Antonella Franzen increased the midpoint of the company's full-year 2026 operating EBITDA guidance to approximately $1.76 billion. Adjusted earnings per share are now expected to reach $7.24, with organic sales growth projected to climb slightly above 4%. The company also finalized its transition to the Industrials GICS classification effective July 31, 2026, marking a continued shift in its operational focus.
