SBC Launches AI Platform to Accelerate Scientific Communication

Science Branding Communications has unveiled MEDSTORY•AI, a platform designed to condense the development of evidence-based scientific narratives from months into 90-minute sessions. The tool aims to resolve the industry’s long-standing conflict between maintaining rigorous academic defensibility and crafting engaging, memorable stories for medical and research audiences.

The platform functions by selecting from a proprietary library of story angles, specifically identifying gaps between current clinical beliefs and available evidence. Users anchor their narrative around a core concept, after which the software assembles three distinct outputs: a PowerPoint presentation, a white paper, and a video script. To ensure accuracy, every claim generated is linked to a specific sentence and location within the source literature.

Medical affairs expert Renu Juneja, president of ADPAL LLC, noted that the platform forces users to define the clinical evidence gap before content generation begins, resulting in drafts that surpass typical initial efforts. SBC CEO Dr. Edward Perper stated that the tool removes the traditional trade-off between airtight scientific accuracy and engagement, a process that previously consumed significant time for communication teams. The system remains human-directed, requiring user judgment and oversight to finalize the strategy.
