Revenue for the six-month period climbed 7.4% to AED 2.6 billion, bolstered by one-off sales linked to the UAE food security program. The company’s financial health saw a marked improvement as EBITDA jumped 35.8% to AED 310.5 million, with margins expanding by 250 basis points. Free cash flow swung to a positive AED 521.4 million, allowing the firm to reduce its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio to 1.8x from 2.9x at the end of last year.

Core business segments drove the performance, led by the Water and Food division, which saw a 38.9% revenue spike in the second quarter. The Al Ain water brand captured an additional 2.0 percentage points of market share, while the Protein and Frozen segment rose 22.0%, fueled by the Nabil brand and expanded capacity in Saudi Arabia. Agthia concluded the period with AED 869.6 million in cash, providing a cushion to navigate regional market volatility and sustain its ongoing portfolio reset.
