The company’s performance highlights a successful pivot toward higher productivity, with the Adecco Global Business Unit growing by 6.6%. Regional gains were particularly pronounced in the Americas and APAC, which rose 12% and 10% respectively. Meanwhile, the Akkodis unit returned to growth, and the LHH division saw signs of recovery in permanent placement services.
CEO Denis Machuel attributed the results to rigorous execution and a focused strategy on client and candidate engagement. The group reported an adjusted EPS of €0.61, a 31% increase compared to the previous year. Productivity initiatives have already hit the firm’s annual target, with 50% of revenues now agent-enabled, prompting leadership to raise the year-end goal to 70% coverage. With a 0.5x reduction in its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio, the firm maintains a strong balance sheet while sustaining momentum through its fifth consecutive quarter of growth.
