Capricor Therapeutics Faces Securities Class Action Over Drug Data

Investors who purchased Capricor Therapeutics stock between December 17, 2025, and July 26, 2026, are being urged to join a class action lawsuit. The litigation, filed by the DJS Law Group, alleges the company misled the market regarding the regulatory status of its clinical drug candidate, Deramiocel.

The complaint centers on allegations that Capricor violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing false and misleading statements to shareholders. Specifically, the company reportedly altered its statistical analysis plan for Deramiocel clinical data without obtaining necessary prior agreement from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This discrepancy allegedly persisted during the resubmission of the company’s Biologics License Application, clouding the drug's development trajectory.

Shareholders seeking to act as lead plaintiff in the case must submit their applications by September 28, 2026. While the DJS Law Group is actively soliciting participants for the litigation, the firm notes that appointment as a lead plaintiff is not a prerequisite for investors to potentially recover losses related to the alleged securities violations.
