The recognition highlights a shift in how consumer packaged goods brands approach data. While many traditional providers rely on opaque, single-source models, Becausal aggregates transactions from multiple independent partners. This approach allows the company to deduplicate data at the shopper level, providing a comprehensive view of purchasing behavior across 300 categories. By using a causal inference engine, the platform ensures that every audience output remains traceable to actual purchase records rather than black-box estimations.
CEO Chai Outmezguine noted that the industry has long sought an alternative to models that cannot be inspected or traced. The company’s AuditableAI platform and its "act-alike" audience technology enable marketers to recalibrate campaigns in real time as consumer behavior shifts. This capability will be demonstrated at NRF 2026: Retail's Big Show Europe in Paris this September, where the firm will debut its CPG Data Store. The platform, currently in closed beta, offers a self-service interface for brands to analyze performance trends directly from the source.
