Clerri Expands Membership Tool Access via Chrome Extension

Austin-based dental membership platform Clerri has debuted a Chrome extension designed to integrate its Bridge software with any web-based practice management system. By moving the interface into the browser, the company aims to eliminate the need for complex, location-specific software installations and manual IT updates across dental practices.

The new tool functions as a persistent side panel within the browser, allowing staff to manage membership enrollment, patient savings, and status checks without obstructing their primary practice management software. Because the extension operates independently of specific platforms like Denticon or Dentrix Ascend, it functions consistently regardless of the underlying system. Jacob Evans, Clerri’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, noted that this shift reduces deployment overhead to zero, as groups can now standardize their membership tools across dozens of locations simultaneously through enterprise policy.

Functionally, the extension mirrors the existing Bridge platform, retaining core features like patient search and enrollment workflows. Security remains a priority, with patient data held only in session memory and cleared upon browser closure to maintain PHI compliance. The extension is currently available in the Chrome Web Store for practices with active integrations, allowing multi-location groups to push updates silently and ensure all offices remain on the same version without requiring individual IT tickets.
