The research suggests that the rise of artificial intelligence does not render search engine optimization obsolete but rather demands a more comprehensive approach to digital presence. According to founder Matt Maglodi, businesses must move beyond simple webpage rankings and focus on becoming entities that AI systems can reliably verify across the web. This requires a shift toward building what the firm calls digital authority—a strategy where a company’s website is bolstered by consistent data from Google Business Profiles, professional networks, and third-party citations.
The study highlights 12 recurring themes observed during testing, noting that while technical foundations like crawlable HTML and structured data remain essential, the value of original information has surged. Case studies and firsthand research allow AI models to surface verifiable data that generic content often lacks. Conversely, the agency warns against over-reliance on single-platform strategies or "quick-fix" technical tricks, emphasizing that the most effective approach combines varied digital signals—including LinkedIn activity and authentic online discussions—to reduce ambiguity for machine-learning algorithms.
